Welcome to the 2025 UEC MTB Youth European Championships!
For the second year in a row we welcome the fastest young mountaibike riders to Jönköping. This time to Hallby Arena, on the west side instead of east side of the city. Due to the great cooperation between the clubs; IKHP and Hallby and Destination Jönköping as well as the Swedish Cycling Federation it will be possible to host the event two years in a row.
The area aound Axamo and Hallby Arena host annual cup competitions and championships in different disciplines (in 2014 the National MTB Championships). The hosting club IF Hallby SOK include mountainbike, cross-country skiing and orienteering amongst it members and events.
The event consist of several days of racing crowning the Youth European champion in XCC (short track), XCR (Team Relay) and XCO (Cross country olympic) and an initial Timetrial (ITT/XCT). There are 4 different age groups (both boys and girls). U14 (born 2012), U15 (born 2011), U16 (born 2010) and U17 (born 2009), depending on what discipline there will be races per age group or for example only U17 and U15, for example in the mixed Relay-races.
Hallby MTB is located just west of Jönköping and is a mountain bike arena suitable for the whole family. Thanks to the variety of tracks, there is something for cyclists of all ages and experience levels. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced MTB cyclist Hallby has something to offer.
