The area aound Axamo and Hallby Arena host annual cup competitions and championships in different disciplines. The hosting club IF Hallby SOK include mountainbike, cross-country skiing and orienteering amongst it members and event. The riders and trainers from the club have been visiting and participating in the Euro Youth MTB Championship for several years.
The mountainbike course offers several climbs, technical sections such as a rock garden, drops, and roots. The arena is built so that the audience can follow the race closely. However at Hallby you will find plenty of other nice MTB and running trails to enjoy, for every level, beginners to expert.
Hallby is close to Jönköping Airport, Axamo Lake and Axamo Camping site.
Just west of Jönköping, close to the airport you could enjoy everything from trail-running, XC-skiing and mountainbiking. This area is well known for hosting races and championships in different disciplines. Hallbystugan hosted the Swedish National XCO Championships in 2014 and since then the tracks as evolved alongside an increase of youngsters getting into MTB. Hallby SOK having up to a 100 kids and youth in training each week.
